Recent Updates

I quit RareJob lessons at the end of August, 2016. It was my 3rd anniversary of taking lessons. I thought it was enough because I am getting older and I don't expect any job opportunity with English related. We don't have any foreign neigbors in the countryside.

I have already uploaded many pictures up to now. I feel it takes me quite a lot of time to upload another pictures, so I started writing another diary.

My new blog address is

Kunimi-no-mori-kouen Park, Hyogo

We visited Kunimi-no-mori-kouen Park, Hyogo Prefecture on Sept. 28, 2013

It was a one-hour drive from our place in Himeji city.

Picture No.1   A wood board shows a map of inside the park.

Picture No. 2  Riding the Monorail is free of charge.  The service is available once only every hour.  It carries up to (or It carries a maximum of) 40 passengers, and we must reserve our seats in advance.  If there is no reservation, they won't provide its service.  During regular inspections, this service is unavailable to the public.  They also have a regular inspection, and the service is not provided for the day.   Please inquire beforehand to check the availablity of their service.  Please make a phone call to them beforehand to check if their service is available.

Picture No.3   Please look at the curves.  It's just like a roller jet coaster in the amusement park!
But it runs very slowly, so you don't feel sick.  At the bottom in left side , you can see the figure, 116M, which means at the altitude of 116 meters M.

Picture No. 4 - The altitude at 420 meters.

Picture No. 5 - I leaned over a big wooden wild boar.

Picture No. 6 - A 15-minute walk through this path from the monorail station will take you to the viewing tower.  There is a 15-minute walk through this walk way from the monorail station, it will take you to the viewing tower.  (You will find the tower in Picture No. 9 below.)

Picture No. 7 - During the walk, you can see a variety of trees (or different kinds various of trees), like this orange.  We found a kind of orange.    It was unripe.

Picture No. 8 - The board reads "Please keep the gate closed to prevent so that wild boars and deer from passing though."

Picture No. 9 - We arrived at the viewing tower.  We went up and enjoyed the bird's eye view.

Picture No. 10 - We also enjoyed walking while looking at the majestic beauty of the surrounding trees.  On our way back to the monorail, I took this picture below.

Picture No. 11 - I found two boars, one has the one with a camera hung around in his neck.

No. 12 - We really enjoyed the free ride.

It was a lovely place.  We stayed there for about two and a half 2.5 hours.  The eighteen-minute monorail ride was excellent.  We also enjoyed walking, seeing the trees. It was a good exercise. There were some other visitors ranging from a young father holding his little baby in his arms to a grandfather who seems to be in his 70s.  We were lucky that the area was not so crowded at that time.  But it was not very over crowded.     We are looking forward to visiting there again.
