Oct. 18 - Shikata Cosmos in Kakogawa City, Hyogo

My husband and I drove to Shikata area in Kakogawa city, Hyogo Prefecture.  It was a sunny Sunday afternoon and also the last day of their cosmos festival today.  There were many cars of visitors, and we couldn't find any place to park our car.  We parked our car for a few minutes in a place where you cannot see from the picture and left the place immediately.

One of the senior volunteer staff members told us "Park your car on the right side of the road.  If you want to leave afterwards, you can use the left side of the road at first and then drive forward."

Driver's seat is placed on the right side of the car in Japan.  If drivers on the left side on the road tries to open their door, they will crash cars on the right side.

Only 10 centimeters left to fall down. 

 

 

My husband and I thought driving left side of the road would be dangerous.  There was not enough space on the road.  If we try not to fall down, we may crash cars which had been parked in the right side. 

 

If we are not confident of our safety, the choice of giving up shoul be important in our lives.
